Age of Sigmar has come into being, WHFB is a thing of the past… (deep breath) ~Le Sigh~
Mine is not the place to question those whose IP we play with here in Mordheim. Certainly there is no reason why we, the players (some of which who have sunk thousands of dollars into their models… cough cough…. or so I’ve heard) can not continue to play in the mythos that Mordheim exists in. We can certainly play in a world where Chaos has NOT yet wiped out man/elf/dwarfkind. We can play in a world where things are a little bit better, but not TOO much better (how interesting would Mordheim be if all were peaches & cream?).
Unlike Bard I will not be moving my models to round bases; I will be keeping my square 20 and 25mm bases intact. This will, however, pose an interesting play-style dilemma. Mordheim rules state that only 4 models of the same kind can be in contact with any other base of the same kind (four sides to a square, four possible enemies rushing into contact). How will we determine how many models may be in contact with a round base? How will we determine the LoS and FoV for a round-based model? Certainly our 40K brethren can help us out with this (as I had only ventured into the realm of 40K once, for a fundraiser tournament, with some sweet dipped Tyranids). Suggestions? Comments? Help guide an old sage into this new and terrifying age…
Brahm.
